Help us preserve a unique piece of Glenorchy’s industrial and design heritage.
In 1954, local businesses built this futuristic arch for the Queen’s visit to Tasmania as a symbol of Glenorchy’s engineering know-how and civic pride.
It’s been a Brooker Highway landmark at the Riverfront Motel since 1961.
Now, after almost 60 years, the Arch needs a bit of love and attention.
It was made for the Queen - let’s keep it for Glenorchy.
